"I am with Sam!"

May 8th was a much anticipated day for the Pierce Family referred to as "convention" for many weeks and months leading up to it. When May 8th came and it was finally time for the Utah State Democratic Convention at the Salt Palace! Steve put in countless hours leading up to the day, not just organizing all the volunteers & fulfilling role of Communications Director (press releases, website design, issues content, responsible for basically how the candidate is perceived by the people) but also spending most Saturdays traveling across the state with United States Senate candidate Sam Granato to get the delegates' votes.

It all came down to the convention and I could NOT have been more proud of Steve! He has now officially won his first (of many to come) political races! Thanks to all the friends who helped out all day at the event! As excited as I am for the general election in November, I'm sure it is going to entail a very busy husband between now and then:)
