Picture Overload

The past month has been exciting! I had so many photos on my computer...

Steve competed in the Annihilation Cup, which was a debate between the president of the college republicans and college democrats.
Steve won (of course) and therefor received this Stanley Cup-like trophy.

We watched the first BYU game of the NCAA tournament at the terrace in the Wilk.
I think class should be canceled at times like this.

Steve's dad came to town and we went to the third/fourth round of the NCAA tournament in Salt Lake.
It would have been a million times better had BYU made it this far!
Photobucket
We celebrated Steve's birthday.... over the course of a week.
Photobucket
We went to In-and-Out and Mckay & I gave Steve one of his birthday presents: goalie gloves.
Photobucket
We went to the Vampire Weekend concert with a group of friends in Salt Lake during the "birthday week" which also included the Jazz game, dinner at Tucanos where we ate enough meat to last 4 months, various outings and dessert nights with friends.
Photobucket
We celebrated Mckay & Steve's birthdays together in Salt Lake with my parents because they are only three days apart (Steve requested pie!)
Photobucket
We hosted the first-annual Easter egg bracket challenge. Steve officiated the intense event.
Photobucket
My "birthday week" was up next. First stop: Passion Pit concert. Same venue, we even stood in the same spot.
Photobucket
Terrible photo, but Steve surprised me with tickets to see Lady Gaga in Vegas later this summer!
He also got me some of the cutest things. Definite A in my book for "most thoughtful husband"

We went to Brick Oven with my brother and Mom to celebrate

Dinner at PF Changs.

Spencer/Isaac Russell concert at Velour - listen to Lighthouse. Amazing.

Sunday dinner in Salt Lake with family. Every year we have strawberry shortcake on my birthday

Birthday lunch with my girlfriends. Of course when Mia spills she pulls out her Tide pen and takes care of it. We thought it was hilarious! Love her.

BYU Baseball games with these friends. We are going to miss Jake when he leaves to NYC this summer!
AND we are super excited for Justin & Holly's wedding in June!

Callie & Grant got married this past weekend! The sealing was amazing!
Another addition to the wives club is always exciting!

We are looking forward to a fun (and relaxing) summer to include Seven Peaks, playing Spades with Natalie & Daniel, craft projects with the wives club and many pick-up basketball games at 24 Hour Fitness! (oh, and maybe a little work & school)

monday's thoughts

i spend a lot of time thinking as i drive to and from work 45 minutes each way five times a week.

today's thoughts...
i was ECSTATIC when i checked the weather and it said 70 degrees and sunny on friday for my birthday! (excited for the tulip festival with my mom, then all afternoon/night with steve!)

i officially applied for graduation today. i feel so old. and am excited to be DONE with college on wednesday morning after my final internship interviews. hallelujah

was sure my sister had her baby between yesterday and today... then i called her to find out, and still no baby! :( BUT she is having it on Wednesday morning!

still thinking about how amazing the passion pit concert was last thursday night.

thinking about when steve and i are going to go shopping for dress clothes for him. it's extremely hard to get the kid to shop with me.

how excited i am for gossip girl tonight. hopefully watching it with brookie.
but not as excited as i get about the bachelor/bachelorette.

how much i love my haircut i got last week. ellen at dexterity salon is a miracle worker

what to make for dinner. answer: grilled chicken with chili pepper pasta and roasted tomato sauce, garlic bread.

wishing i had bought more that 6 boxes of somoas (girl scout cookies)

trying to figure out a way to take sewing lessons this summer. i would love something like this to learn on (....i know, i'm dreaming...)

there are only a few things i asked for my birthday. something like this being one of them. i have a sneaking suspicion steve got something like it :) i'm excited

i found myself thinking about the west wing. steve & i are now in season 7, and i finally find it fascinating. i'm really happy president santos won.

laughed about the fact that the governor of utah was going to be eating at my restaurant tonight, received calls all day about the security of lugano tonight. it was a little annoying.

trying to decide if i should work or go to the isaac russell show on saturday night. i should probably do the first, but will end up doing the later.

Weekend Review

Easter & Conference has been a fun weekend! Yesterday Steve & I were busy with work, his soccer game, basketball games, and the highlight of the day: I learned to make home-made cinnamon rolls by my mom! So good! I decided to take last night off because I knew work would be slow so my mom and I went to dinner and shoe shopping while the boys were at Priesthood. The boys came home to freshly baked cinnamon rolls and we watched the end of the Duke vs. VW game. The night ended with Mckay, Steve & I making a late night trip to the amazing Molca Salsa!

Today has been more relaxing.

We hope you are having a Happy Easter wherever you are!
